I seem to have wire going to my steering box?

 

It's going up to your horn button .

Yes it does .

 

That wire at the horn button grounds (switches) the horn relay to blow the horn. A shop manual is very helpful.

 

I am in the process of rewiring the truck and thought I had tracked down all the old wires. Then I discovered that one. No idea what it had been hooked to. No horn currently mounted in the truck. The manual helps, but it doesn't totally pertain to this project since I am adding a fuse box.
