I live in Maine and have an oppurtunity to buy a 79 F-250 from my neighbor 4x4 auto, 8400 gvw, 400 , factory air with 74k original miles in almost stock pristine condition, any idea what its worth??

 

I would guess depending upon physical condition somewhere in the neigborhood of $2500.00 maybe even a little more.

You gotta figure that any operational/running 4x4 is probably going to fetch $800 - $1000 even in pretty poor condition.

Did you get this truck bought. That is cheap really if its in that good off condition. If I had that rruck I wouldnt sell it for less then 6-7000 dollars. Its hard to find a truck like you describe in that good off shape around here for less then that.

 

Do you happen to have any pic's of the truck?

 

If its all original and a 8 or 9 in condition, out here on the west coast it could fetch in the $10K range.
