I used the rear door handle w/ no lock hole and rewired my charge wire on my 7 way trailer plug so that its hooked to the battery not the key and have a plug that plugs into the truck trailer plug that I can apply battery voltage to to unlock the doors....... No problems
I just finished installing my viper alarm, still need to get the keyless door locks done, but I am picking up a pezo (sp) alarm, very small, but very loud, it will be inside the truck, I am going to make it so loud inside and outside, that their will be no way to stay inside the truck.
I don't see the billet handles as a viable solution. The sheet metal around the handle will flex to allow the perps to unlock the door.
Jimmi Jammers and the billet handles might slow them down.
Precisely....slowing them down is all you're doing...even with the rear door handles on the front. Dark tinted windows, nothing inside the truck that is worth grabbing, alarm system, small, thermonuclear device under the driver's seat.

If you're looking at the DEI 513T one, don't bother. I bought 2 online, got em yesterday and they suck with a capital S. Not loud enough to bother anyone.

Billet handles won't do the trick completely, like you said the sheetmetal will flex, so I would put a Viper alarm system, billet door handles and the Jimmi Jammer, that should slow them down if not stop them because of the alarm system.
Do you all think the chrome can be taken off the billet door handles and painted whatever color you want it to be.(in my case black)
