Does anyone have any info or suggestions on this motor? What carb should I step up to? Tune up specs? Any input would be geatly appreciated.

 

What are you trying to do with the engine? Is it in the original truck or do you want to install a 370 into a different vehicle? They are complete dogs from a performance standpoint, have small valve heads, etc. Boresize limits the head swapping/bigger valve head upgrades...but there are some things tha can be done.

No it's in the original truck, F700 w/54,000 miles. I've cracked the right side exhaust manifold twice this year. And I've been having carb problems also. I have had no complaints with it until recently. We thought of switching the carb out, get rid of the factory exhaust manifolds and go to headers. But I'am open to suggestions.
