Swap a straight six back into a V8 convert 73?

I'm not sure about the 300, but the EB's that came factory with a 170/200 I6 had the engine mounts moved forward on the frame a couple inches. I believe that they stuck out from the frame a bit further for the narrower engine.
Although I've been told the latter model trucks with the 300 can be swapped to a 302 rather easily. The 300 block may have close to the 302 dimensions.

Why do you know the truck's engine was swapped? Even it it was I don't think anybody sells the frame towers for sixes.
300 sixes are a lot larger than 170/200 sixe. They probably will not fit in a Bronco's engine compartment.
Good friend of mine had them for years in Pickups.
Why bother... they actually get worse gas mileage than V-8s.
