Viton or Rubber Rear Main Seals?

First I don't know what "Viton" is. I suppose it's some type of synthetic material.

When I look this part up I find a choice between Rope, Rubber and Viton.

No, I'm not going with rope.

Viton must be freat stuff because it's 5 times the cost of the rubber seal.

Which one is best?

Viton is a superior material. I would spend the extra money.
