Wrangler Radials/Walmart, any good?

Hi guys. I have a few questions about tires.

I've seen Goodyear Wrangler radials for cheap at walmart. I know these tires are discontinued. Are they any good?

What about the Wrangler RTS? Are they any good?

Also, if I buy these tires at walmart are they the same tires as other goodyears?

Also, have you guys dealt with the tirerack?

Thanks.

If they're discontinued, that's why they're cheap...

Are they made in China for Goodyear?
If so, I wouldn't touch them.

Ditto. Based on my experience in the tire business (admittedly a few years ago), Goodyear has always had a problem making a tire that was actually round...

Or has any traction. Then they want way too much $$$$$ for their crap as well.

They focus so much on NASCAR but forget who really keeps them in business.

my dad had about 2 sets of goodyears put on my moms car before he got fed up and got another brand put on. They would start vibrating real bad and actually start peeling chunks off the tires, rebalance them and they would vibrate again after a little time. But on the other hand i bought a set of wrangler m/t's(like the hummers) not the mt/r's for 40 bucks from a friend for my truck and i have not had a problem with them. goodyear is way to hit or miss for me to buy a set of them brand new

HAd them as OEM on my Expy. Got 44,000 miles out of them, But I kept them rotated every 10,000 miles. Since then, I have only had Michelins from Sam's Club. Cant beat the $9 per tire road hazard/ lifetime rotation and balance deal they offer.

i never pay $50 for a tire .. even then i hate to do it i pick up nails all the time from the construction sites and it dont pay to put expensive tires on the trucks.. problem is all the tire shops want to sell you what they want and they dont want to mount stuff they feel you shouldnt run.. for example i run p225 75R15 on my ranger rear and they dont want to put them on stating that i shouldnt use anything other than p215 70r15. i prefer the big tire but what can i say some 17 year old high school snot knows more about tires and clearances than me yeah right lol

Dont buy them, they are blowing them out for a reason as someone else said. I personally thought they were a good deal and bought a set for the wifes rig. Had to take them back three times to get balanced right. Then, When winter hit last year they were like slicks in snow and ice. I bought the 235 75, 15s . Wont ever buy them again. not even for a trailer to haul my stuff to the dump. A good inexpensive tire I have used in the past is a mastercraft. Personally now I run pro comp xtreme all terrains because they are made by cooper and made in usa.

Good for dry roads and that is about it. Those and the Firestone Wilderness AT, both stock Ford tires, have to be about the worse ice/snow traction tires you can buy. It is a "spec" tire and not the best you can buy for the money, imo.

The Wrangler RTS tires are a good one to stay away from.

I had Trailblazers ( I forget the manufacture's name) They were a decent tire. Right now I'm running Chapparal A/P. Pretty good all around tire. Good in the mud/wet but still halfway decent handling on the hy-way.

Ok guys thanks for the advice. I googled the wranglers and saw tons of complaints.

I've decided to spend a few more bucks and get the Bridgestone Dueler Revos.
