Power fold mirrors or not

My 2007 f150 fx4 has has power mirrors and the control **** has the arrow that can be pulled straight back to fold the mirrors but nothing happens. Any way to know if the mirrors are really folding but not working or if the arrow is just there if the folding option is on the truck.

From what I've seen, the same **** is used in everything, whether it has the folding option or not. If you have the folding mirrors, it will say power folding on the mirror glass itself.

For '07, you could only get the power folding on a SCrew in FX4, Lariat, or King Ranch.

My '07 FX4 has the deluxe mirror package but does not have power folding mirrors. The switch also does not have the rearward facing arrow. Maybe they installed the wrong switch **** on yours?

(looks like there are 3 honda motorcycle owners in this thread?)

Not so, in 2007 they were offered on other models as VFR_man stated.

My 07 has them, come in handing in the garage for sure. As for the King Ranch and FX4, everyone I drove had them as well.

Ok so.. I have concluded that the mirrors are not power fold, Do you think the wiring would be there if I swapped the existing ones for power fold. The switch is already there although it currently does nothing.

If you could have optioned the mirrors on your particular truck, the wires are probably there, but you'll still need the power fold module (at the least). The mirrors are dad-gum expensive too if you buy them new.

If you have a SCab or regular cab, there are no wires for them which makes it real fun.

Thanks VFR.. it was an option on the truck.. some do have powerfolds... but to buy new mirrors sounds like too much money. I'll keep a look out for some used ones.
