How To: Retreive your door code on 02+ excursions. NEW EASIER METHOD!!!
#32
I had the dealership pull up mine and they could not get it to work. They also wrote the code on the invoice. I'm hoping the dummy tech wrote or entered it with a transposed number or something. If the code matches any idea why I can't unlock the car, is there a fuse blown or something? Which fuse to check?

After a week of searching for this thing, finally found it today. Thanks for the pictures, the cable plugs were a great reference of what to look for. Mine was WAY up on the firewall, behind the radio. Might have been easier to remove the radio, but I did it the hard way from underneath the dash and a small mirror.

Use the camera luke
I finally got around to completing this task myself tonight. Mine was located straight back behind and left of the radio right against the firewall. There is a pile of insulation that is anchored between it and another module on the dash side. Plenty of room to work with. I am the quintessential lazy one. That and I am too old and big to get down their with a mirror. So, I turned on the camera on my cell phone and set it to flash and auto focus. I slid it up between the foam and the box facing in the direction of the firewall. I then pressed the camera back towards the dash and moved it around a few times taking snapshots. Took six and actually got the pin on my 3rd shot. Thought I would share in case the mirror trick wasn't working for some.
