comp cams makes a cam and lifter kit for it. hooker makes a split header for it. and offenhauser makes a four barrel intake for that motor too.

Mild port/polish on the headwith port matching of the head and manifolds. Use EFI exhaust manifolds which can be had much cheaper than headers and without the usual troubles assiciated with headers coming loose. Comp 260H or any cam with similar specs work well. Offy DP manifold if you are going 4v carb. Offy C or Clifford will give you the option of 2v or 4v carbs. Ignition upgrade to DS2.

That site has tons of stuff on the 240/300 Forum. You will find answers to every question that has ever been asked about I6 performance on this Forum or the fordsix Forum. Be prepared to do a lot of reading and research.

7866ford: I don't have a current mpg on it yet...haven't driven it enough to obtain one. When I do it will be exclusively city rating as I haven't tripped it yet to get hwy rate plus I will be changing to a 465 cfm carb next week and will get some mpg figures on it in the next month or two. I do know if I stay out of the secondaries the fuel guage doesn't go "west" near as fast.
