How about Tastycakes?
I know they don't have them down there either.
You gettin' a hankering yet?

A friend moved to seattle a while back, and a year later he sent me a check for $100 to go out and buy about $70 worth of Tastycakes and FedEx them to him. The Guy at the FedEx counter saw me loading them into a box, and said "Ah, friend move away from Philly did he?" I told him the story and apparently this has happened before, and he'd seen it.

I have family in Missouri and if anyone goes to see them they have to bring Tastycakes, Hoagies and Scrapple because they can't get any of those out there.

Bubba liked to frequent the old swimming hole but was never able to attract the girls. He decided to ask his friend Billy-Bob for advice. It's those big baggy swimming trunks that make you look like an old fool. They're years outta style. Your best bet is to grab yourself a pair of Speedos-about two sizes too little and drop a fist-sized tater down inside them. I'm telling ya man...ya'll have all the babes you want!

The following weekend, Bubba hits the swimming hole with his spanking new tight Speedos, and his fist-sized potato. Everybody at the swimming hole was disgusted as he walked by, covering their faces, turning way, laughing, looking sick!

Bubba went back to his buddy Billy-Bob and asked him, "What's wrong now?"

"Lard-Almighty!" said Billy-Bob, "the tater goes in the front!

Scrapple, Soft Pretzels, Cheesesteaks, Fried Bologna, Hoagies, Franks Soda, Tastykakes (even though they have gone down hill lately), That about sums up my daily diet.

Edit; forgot Philly Water Ice, soft pretzels with mustard and a water ice, the summer diet.

Tom,
I'm not a joisey transplant, my mother moved down there when I was seventeen I stayed in Philly. Been Philly my whole life. Have lived there periodically and visited family in various locations through out the state, usually not by choice. I have spent a lot of time in the pine barrens though and down the game preserves near the Millville, Leesburg, Port Norris, Laurel Lake areas. That's where I met your brother. I was out in the woods with a girl when we came upon a.. That's another story.

Like I said, that's another story. Besides, as far as I know, she's still running through the woods with the little devil. Painful memories, and as stated in another post, never fall asleep when your in the woods with Tom's brother.
