That's an Aimpoint on top. Usually a red dot with no magnification. On the bottom is a Surefire. That is a flashlight. From the size of the chamber I'd say a 38 super, 7 shot.

Correct on the Aimpoint and the Surefire light.
I'd say that it's either a .357 Magnum or the .38 Special cartridge, instead of a .38 Super. (Possibly a .45 acp, but, I kinda doubt it.)
The .38 Super is/was normally chambered in a semi-auto, most commonly in a 1911-A1 variant.
It is a Smith & Wesson revolver from the "Performance Center" though.
I've always been a fan of S&W revolvers.
I really like the Thompson Center Contender (14th down, if I counted correctly).
I've got one of them and several different caliber/barrel combinations.
7mm TC/u is one of my favorites, along with the .30 Herrett.

What? No .44 Evans Repeating Rifles or Carbines?? How many 28 or 32 shot lever actions have y'all seen? The magazine is in the butt. They're great for SASS competition. There's a least two FTE members that have one.

Savage Revolving Fire-Arms Co. Navy Model. Evolved from the Savage North Figure 8 models. 12,000 were sold to the US Government for the army and navy of roughly 20,000 produced.
Those Thompson Contenders are some wicked pistols. I shot one in, I think, a 30-06 and I swear the thing was just trying to jump out of my hand. At 50 yards I had to have missed the target by about 10 feet.

Try shooting a Linebaugh Single Action 5 shot revolver in .45-70. The recoil is worse than a Casull. The Linebaugh make a .44 Magnum seem like a cap pistol.
