93 ranger best performance mods for the money?

I am a noob and was wondering what would be the best performance mod for the money. I have already changed plugs, air filter, and pcv valve. I am looking for cheap horsepower gains as I am putting a 2" lift and larger tires on.

A good quality exhaust system will give you some more power. I see yours is fuel injected, maybe a throttle body spacer? An actual air intake like that of K&N will get you alot more power and more MPG!

Putting bigger tires on is going to rob you of that horsepower your putting into it. Also no bolt on will give you more power if it isnt running good.

Air intake how to

Not to sure how to go about this. The truck currently has a flat drop in air filter and box. How would I install a larger cone filter? and would this actually increase anything but the sound? I had read that the stock tube already pulls in more that the engine can use?

re-gear the truck. The larger tires are going to make it seem like you have numerically lower gears on there.
