Filling holes in tailgate?????????

Its actually fairly easy and there are a couple of different methods.
1. Cut sheet metal to the diameter of the holes, place a magnet from behind and braze (spot type welds) around in opposite sides (to avoid warping) until it is filled. Grind smooth & apply filler
2. Apply a fiberglass cloth to the backside, apply resin, reapply to create 3 layers.Let completely dry, apply fiberglass impregnated filler to the tailgate to fill holes. Let dry, sand and finish.
3. Cut a piece of sheet metal to cover affected tailgate surface from side to side, body seam to body seam. Attach with body panel adhesive, braze or mig weld edges, spot weld pattern to reduce warping, grind welds, apply filler and finish.
