Oil Pressure sender?

Does the mid-80's 300 I-6 have an oil pressure sender bolted onto it somewhere?

Oil Pressure sender?

yes, if you truck has a oil pressure gage. It is located UNDER HOOD, DRIVER SIDE, LOWER ENGINE AREA, ABOVE OIL FILTER, MOUNTED IN ENGINE BLOCK. It will be screwed into the block with a wire connected to the other end. Its a round part that is usually silver or gold, you can't miss it.

In this pic, it's just above & behind the oil filter, almost covered by the dipstick. The wiper motor points to it.

From too much gasoline running down the intake into the cylinder's then breaking down the lubrication of, Now non-existing oil on the rings.

Oil Pressure sender?

Mine was caused by a tiny leak in the (new) rubber diaphragm of the accelerator pump.
