I know my way around trucks but, the Ford Big Job is new to me., I ran accross one in Myrtle Point a few months back. I just tried to use sat view to see if it's still there. No luck.
It is a 10 wheel truck,,, I think with a water tank to be on standby while logging.

Since we seem to be going into a trade / tarriff war with China, I wanted to get those 11.00-R22 tires as soon as possible.

heavy duty German technology high quality 1000x20,11.00r22,12.00r20-18 truck tires

FOB Reference Price:Get Latest Price
US $130-150 / Piece 1 Piece/Pieces (Min. Order)
1 piece minimum order
When I contacted them to buy, they told me that the minimum order was one CONTAINER.
Now, I need another source for tires.

That's a whole lot of tires. Currently, ocean shipping containers are 50' long. I don't believe anyone uses the twenty footers anymore.

After looking around and contacting a few people, I think that I need to give up on the 22 inch tires. There are plenty of tall tires. I just don't know what depth of rim will clear the rear springs. Here are some tires that look good but, they are on 8 inch rims.
11.00 R20 GOODYEAR G177 TRUCK TIRES
Many of the other rims are the MRAP type that I just don't want. The other problem is that everybody seems to be close to the east coast. Shipping would kill me.

I found the 11.00 22 tires at M.E. Miller tire in Ohio. They say that the tire is instock in some wharehouse in Redlands, Ca, not for from me. $ 520.85 each with flaps and tubes.

Pretty awesome truck. Needs a little TLC and a buffing out. Cool that it has S-cam air brakes all around. Guess you know that if you use the truck commercially you will need a CDL with an air brake endorsement.

I wouldn't have bought it if it had wedge brakes. I'll probably change it over to piggy-back cans so that I don't have to depend on the lever brake for an emergency. I don't plan to use it commercially. Just for stuff around the "farm".
My truck is in Oregon but, my shop is in L. A. I'll probably trailer it down here to work on it. There's only one weigh station on Oregon 42s and, it's not open all that much. I cxan go around on dirt roads.

Came across this truck about a mile from home. I've never seen it in town before and don't know who it belongs to but it looks like they've put it to work hauling shrubbery.
