They said they recommend each individual call and make their reservation ASAP, they are going to try to keep us as close together as posible, but there are some factors that will play in, like Tent campers, Trailer size, if you have a tilt out, and what amenities you want (electric, water, sewage, etc.), also how quickly you make your reservations. To date there have been 2 sites reserved under the Mid-Atlantic FTE, I am one of them, and one other. Anyone wanting a cabin should make it a priority to call right away, because they only have 4, and they will fill up quickly. The Contact person at the campground is Bonnie, she will be out on Wed. and Thur. but will be back on Fri 1/11/08

So anyone that wants to camp with us, please dont drag your feet, they say the campground always is full for this weekend!!

Ps anyone who makes a reservation please post on here that you are in so we can keep a tally!
Thanks, jimmyb08SD
Thank you Jimmy for all of your hard work and effort!

Thru the efforts of Brenda,LilBluPony from the Delaware Chapter, we have booked 15 double queen bed rooms at the Quality Inn & Suites.

Quality Inn - Chambersburg
1095 Wayne Avenue
Chambersburg, PA 17201
Phone: 717-263-3400
Fax: 717-263-8386
Contact: Nichole Chiaverini

When making your reservation, the rooms are under the MIDATLANTIC FORD TRUCKS (FTE) CLUB. You must give the club name in order to get the discounted rate!

The rooms are for Friday August 8 and Saturday August 9, 2008.

The Quality Inn has agreed to hold the 15 rooms until June 15, 2008. So IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS EARLY TO GUARANTEE YOURSELF A ROOM.

The rate is $75.00 per nite which is about $25 to $50 dollars cheaper than anything else available. All rooms in a five mile radius of Carlisle are booked and have been for quite some time.

If you haven't already done so, I need for you to PM or email me your full name, address, regular email address and telephone no. so future updates can be made via email and not posting in a thread on FTE.

Click on the link below to get the details on the Quality Inn.

Just a reminder to those of you who showed their support for this meet. In case you have missed it, the info for registering for the Carlisle All Truck Nationals is posted in your chapter as well as the MidAtlantic Region. I personally put up the money to reserve a "tent" so we will have parking on the fair grounds for all of us. In order for me to get my money back, I need you to register.

To Pre-Register for the MidAtlantic Region Meet, complete the form found here for the " 2008 All-Truck Nationals NON-COMPETITION Fun Field.

I am going to be bringing the family up for the show this year however the details of the event have not been ironed out yet. Wont be hanging with the FTE crowd as currently I dont own a Ford so I will be bringing the K5 and wont infect your truck with such things as batch fire fuel injection and distributors at the rear of the engine where they are in painfully unavailable reach.

I'm planning on coming even though the K5 wont be registered for the show. I just really want to walk around and see the events. I need this vacation as its been a few years since I've last had a vacation from work. Heres a nifty question for all you guys that have been there before. Where is the best place to camp out in my truck for a night? Walmart or are there any decent local truck stops? I just recently found out that I would be able to go to this event and of course no rooms available at the inn lol.

Hey Jwill, will you be registering with the MidAtlantic Ford Trucks - FTE?

If so, maybe you can be our "security" guard for the Club Tent. lol

I'd register and gladly do post duty for you guys if it meant not sleeping at a local truck stop or getting kicked out of a walmart parking lot. However it seems to be late in the hour to register my truck above all. Fill me in on the routes I need to take to register the truck? Not to mention its not really show quality its my daily driven 88 K5 its not rusty but it isnt pristine either.
