I have never had a major problem of any kind from my fords including spark plugs in my mod motors. Like I say, some people can break cotton. Not say fords are perfect, nor is any man made machine, but thier pretty darn good in my book, never left me walking. You have to over look Smiggs, he's a canadain who takes offense to american pride, he has no dog in the fight, but interjects as though he does. If canada had a car manufacturer and all the canaadians were buying toyota's instead, putting his buddies out of work, then he might know how we feel. It's an american thing, you wouldn't understand.

Care to share what exactly I took offense to? If your idea of "pride" is raggin' on your fellow countrymen and women because of the decisions they make in a "free" country, then you can have it.

If you had a clue, you would realize that buying a Toyota over a Ford is a very, very small reason to why the domestics are hurting. ( although GM is doing well )

But as long as you can pass the blame on to the Japanese, then is ok.

What a hypocrite, you rag on me because I feel more people should buy american. Down here it's a free country, like wise I can express my views about buying japanese just the same as they can buy japanese. Have a clue? I live it dude every day, I have people loosing thier jobs because of forced down sizing from the Brookpark ford plant to the Parma GM plant and the Twinsberg chrysler plant. You need to keep your nose up north where it belongs, a long with your head in the clouds and leave american concerns to the americans Why don't you buy a toyota so we won't have to exchange retorts. My countrymen will survive just fine without your help. Don't you have some snow to shovel or a draft dodger to hide?

And I can express my view on your idea of "pride". So throwing rocks in a glass house isn't helping you here. It's a free country, if you don't like it when someone "rags" on ya, well you know the saying. If you can dish it out, you better be ready to......

Take a breath, step back, and figure out who's fault it really is that these plants are having to downsize.

Ok sorry Dad, I didn't know the internet was only to be used for American concerns.

I would rather have someone tell me my head is in the clouds then up my own.... well you can finish this one off.

No snow yet, kinda scary.

They will be releasing the new golly-gee wizz-bang radio system 02/2008, according to the Lincoln Salesman. It's designed by Microsoft, has all the lastest features including bluetooth.

5 years after everyone else has it, but still...........

Are you talking about the Sync system? I thought that was already out. Or is it just in the Ford's now and will be making the jump to Lincoln in the spring like you said?

Great for the world, it sucks for us. Most of the world would love to see us go down and for sure isn't going to do anything to help us, in trade or other wise. Japen being the exception, as they are one of the few that really need us for thier own survivial, Japan is a true allie. However, we can't destroy are own companies to help them, thier doing fine, were not. For God's sake man, get some pride, buy american ha ha. I was in the air force also, 823rd Red Horse out of Hurlburt Fld in Fla. If I had it to do over again I would still be there.
If Lincoln (Ford) would have dealt with me fairly on the MKX, I would be driving one. I purchase the vehicle the meets my needs. While my priority is to purchase US vehicles, it doesn't mean I will avoid purchasing anything else. The Murano meets our needs and was priced fair.

By the way, don't dig too deeply into the pedigree of your Ford. If you do, you'll find a whole bunch of foreign sourced parts........but hey, it's American (in there somewhere anyway) and that's what counts, right?

From what I am told, the US built vehicle with the highest percentage of domestic sourced parts is the.........(drum roll please)...............the Toyota Tundra.

Yes, the Sync (or was that Sink?) Very poor choice of names........

From what we were told, it is not released until February 08.
