I have a 1999 f150 ext cab short bed that I am thinking of building a tonneau cover for. I was wondering if any one has built a cover for any model of truck and has pictures to show me. I have a few ideas but would like to see other examples of some other projects before I decide what I want to do. I am leaning towards a cover that is flush with the bed rails. Any info and expecially pictures would be helpfull. You do not have to do a step by step instructions for me. I can figure out what I need to do by just looking at good detailed pictures. I would also like to have my cover weather proof if any one has any ideas. Thanks for taking the time to read this post.

 

first off welcome to FTE i built a tonneau cover one time didnt come out like i wanted it to but i used 2x4's to make the frame and i hung heavy weights in the middle and propped both ends up on saw horses and got them really wet so they would bend they way i wanted them . i got one for sell for a long bed if your interested
