After seeing so many flow comparisions against other mufflers, I HATE Flowmasters.

Magnaflow is cool though

Its very difficult suggesting mufflers to people. I need to say that just because one muffler on one vehicle sounds bad ***, it may go barely unnoiticable on another. And the sound of these mufflers flucuates depending on the pipe size, the length of the pipe, and the set up. So keep it mind, its sort of a process. I have gone through so many mufflers to finally reach the ear deffening sound i have wanted. I went from a single in dual outlet flowmaster original 40, a true dual 2 1/2 inch system with the new Super 44, and now recently the dynomax bullets. All vehcles produce differnt noises. My brothers 01 dodge with a 360 makes his single inlet dual outlet super 44 sound almost as loud as my true dual straight pipe, when i was running the super 44's, it was loud, but just boring. so its all preference, and it sort of difficult to guarantee the noise you want. good luck. I would say look into flowmasters super 44, its pretty badass, i dont think straight pipe is for everyione or every vehicle, its pretty obnoxious, and depending on the vehcile, it just mite not make sense.

I like my Raptor. Raptor is low cost, so if you don't like it, can change out.

I am running straights on my flathead with 3" stacks and it sounds good, 3' dual 40 series flowmasters on my camaro and for a performance engine that is what I like, personally. I just love the way flowmasters sound. Of course so many people have them so if different is what you are lookiing for the dynomax round mufflers are pretty freggin loud.

Be different you don't want your ride to sound like everyone elses!! I got the
glass packs and they are loud when you stomp it but deep and mellow while
cruising. The key to duals is to make one a bit longer or use different diameter
on one side to minimize droning. They got some soundclips on there and try
You tube for exhaust sound clips to make up your own mind!!
