It's actually the header to the doorway, and I just had the entire garage sided/trimmed and had new doors put on (about 6 months ago). Had I known I was going to do this, I'd have done bigger doors/openings at the time.

LOL... 6-inches of lift and complaining that a 1.5" tall row of lights is what stands between the truck being inside or outside. I love these trucks!!!

For what it's worth, I feel your pain brother. My F250 almost would fit into my garage but the little arm that raises and lowers the garage door would rake right down the roof of the truck. So she's gonna be sitting outside unless I decide to turn that one garage door into a manually opened door.

Yep!! I shot myself in the foot good this time...

I'll find a way to make it work. I with there was a "cab light DELETE" kit that actually put something flat up there, maybe some decorative stainless inserts that won't look TOO out of place!!!!!!!!

Some of the sun visors have recessed clearance lights built in. For instance: http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts.aspx?free_text=visor&selected_prod_ids=2246 I don't know if where this attaches to the roof would cover the old clearance light holes. Some other pictures: http://www.aztrucks.com/Product.asp?Product=218 http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts.aspx?category%7ccat_-25%7c243=Windshield+Visors&selected_prod_ids=2245

I do not like the look of those visors, but you may be able to purchase replacement lights from Lund and retrofit them into your SuperDuty.

Also, some of the tarctor trailer cabs (Freightliner, KW, Peterbuilt, etc) have flush clearance lights. You may want to try some of those dealers.

Buy one of the transformer toys and make the lights morph out of the way when going into the garage. Key it to the door transmitter.

Another option is to chop the roof.............

That's what duct tape is for.

Most of the visors are cut to go around the cab lights in case you already have them.

Have you tried backing into the garage to make sure the back of the cab will even fit? I know on my truck the back of the cab is still slightly taller or about even with the cab lights with my 4.5" DR lift. Id hate to see you go through all the trouble of changing out cab lights to find that the cab still hits.

Bondo would be great, too, I'd have a nice two-tone effect.

I'll do some searching for those other lights, pictured above, later on today.

I actually checked that the other night. I can back up as far as the cab lights, believe it or not..

Talk about coming down to the wire.

You'd be well ahead of the game on changing out your air every season. Using seasonal air is best for performance, just like seasonal oil.
