Got my 2001 truck dyno'd this weekend. Didn't have time for tuning and didn't spray the water/meth. Ran on injectors alone and put down 462 hp 1001 ftlbs. With the one combination of boxes we had time to try it put down 593 hp 1340 ftlbs. I figure with some tweaks on the settings and spraying water/meth I would have been close to 650 hp. Always next time I guess...

Last night I was able to do the relentless diesel DIY stage I mods to the cp3 for the excursion engine. Should start on it this weekend (the swap).

Got another 4 hours to work on it yesterday. Went pretty well, got the engine and transmission removed. Here's the pics...

throttle, check your PM's.

I got some small stuff done on it tonight. Removed the brake booster, vacuum tank, cruise control system, PS hoses and gear box (replacing it with a new one).

this is the point i would begin to lose interest and start another project......i currently have about 27 projects....

houses, boats, cars, trucks, and then there's this stupid work thing...

Tranny is next. Transfer case input shaft has been changed over and is ready to install. Then the new exhaust system...

beansdiesel, do you use the ford or the dodge intercooler? I have both, just need to trial fit them and see which is going to work better. I know the ford one will fit, but the dodge one is bigger I think...

Some more pics... fuel tank is done... Most of the exhaust is on, (no 5" tip yet), rebuilt the 273 transfer case with the dodge input shaft, more to come...

I have a Spearco 6.0 IC, its bigger then the 7.3 or Dodge cooler. The Dodge cooler is longer side to side but shorter I think. I dont think it will fit well at all I would just use the 7.3 cooler for fit cause it should drop right in.

First impressions... well I drove it very very easy a mile down the road and back to help bring everything up to temp, so I could check fluid levels and top them off. It shifts with authority for sure. I am waiting to hear from ATS to help me with how to setup the transmission controller. I have yet to put all the gauges in before I take it for a real drive. I'll report back my results...
