Looking for fuel system diagram.

Hey guys. I was looking for a fuel system diagram for my 2000 7.3 PSD. I have a leak and have located the leak, but have no idea what the part # is or even what the part itself is called. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

So where is the leak,, engine,, tank? It would be helpful if you could photo the leak and post.

It could just be a simple o-ring change on the fuel water sep.

I had a fuel leak there and could not find it until it was sever enough to drip.

It's on the passenger side of the engine. It's a steel line that runs down the front of the block then back towards the headers. It's definitely missing a part. This line ends out in space and is visible through the wheel well and only drips a little fuel. Truck runs fine and everything. Will get pics this weekend. Been raining here for two solid days.

This sounds like the water sep valve leaking through and new o-rings should fix it. Pic should confirm. Look on top of the engine at the fuel filter assembly. On the rear is a yellow lever that you should open every 5000 miles to drain water. This is the valve that has the o-rings. This is a common problem on some trucks after the switch to cleaner diesel the first of this year.

Thanks a lot will look in the morning. Does this valve run through a line that goes nowhere though? I found it odd that this line just sits there open on the one end.

The line should be the one that drains the filter. If it is leaking about $3.50 worth of o-rings and 30 minutes of your time should fix it given you have tech skills.

vettdvr, you were exactly right. I looked at it after work. I opened the valve for a second and sure enough that's where the leak is. So I should just need to order th o-rings for the fuel water sep valve correct?
