Super Duty Springs to lift F250?

Stock SD spring
75F350
Been doing some digging and haven't found info about STOCK sd springs.
Specs.. 79 f150 4x4 supercab with front leafs.
Somethingclever posted awhile ago that my truck should measure 21.5" from center of hub to fender lip. My measures 19 5/8". Would a stock gas sd front spring bring me back to 'about' stock height?OR will it give an actual lift?
If It went to 22.5" or 23" that would be fine. My local jy has a 99 sd that the cab/front clip/ engine all removed, so access to the hangers is very easy. Could I use the sd front spring rear hanger on my 79 or not necessary?
Thanks to all who have done the research before us.

Without reading back over the thread, I thought the whole BDS vs Pro-Comp spring comparison was between Super Duty springs, and not correct-model vintage springs.
Could be wrong, but that's what I thought I gathered from the old discussion.
Lots of measurements, and/or trial and error sometimes to get things just how you like them individually. Generally speaking though, the LONGER, WIDER and FLATTER a leaf pack is, the more compliant the ride. And the less the shackle travels so you don't need a longer shackle just to keep from binding.
The larger the bushing eyes too, the more isolation from NVH can be achieved. I wonder if the SD springs have larger eyes and bushings?
The advantage of more leaves in a pack is that it's easier to make a pack where the main leaf is flatter (less arch) because some of the lift comes from the sheer thickness of the pack. Thinner leaves can be an advantage or a disadvantage over thicker ones. They have more potential friction surfaces (not good) but can be compensated for at least partially with polyethylene, or Teflon pads between the leaves (good).
Those were some pretty impressive pics of the step-side/tow rig flexing it's front suspension! Pretty sure mine would have tried to twist the frame in half before it got that much twist in the springs! But with my side-steer setup, not sure I want the added flex after all!
Are you guys going to be changing to cross-over or high-steer at the same time?
Sorry no information on stock SD springs specifications for you black & blue.
And in all the threads I've read, there are not a lot of exacts and absolutes posted that I remember.
But when you say different spring codes in '99-'04, do you mean within that range, or outside of it? If outside they were just talking about the change to coil springs in '05.
If within that range, it's probably about engine size and type, as well as cab style. Do you see any consistency in the listings? I have not looked.

I have read on different threads that the 99-04 gasser springs have different spring codes on thr warrenty sticker (i think thats what it is called). I just do not know which code is better ( higher) than another. I know there is a "C" & "V" code but I do not know the other two codes.

Ok, I was afraid that was what you meant. I don't know from the differences between the codes, but it's a bet that they are for different GAWR ratings from the factory, and/or cab/bed combination. Where even though he main changes are behind the spring (such as longer cabs) they likely effect how much spring rate is designed in from the factory.
No idea what is what in that regard.

The BDS springs you'd be seeking are for a 99-04 gas superduty F250/350. e.g. 1999-2004 Ford F250/F350 Super Duty 4" lift kit 314H | BDS Suspension
