Front axle Grease seal & Control Arm

Do I have to remove the chunk to replace the drivers side grease seal on the front axle? Also what brand of control arm do you all recommend to purchase (arm from chassis to axle) Mines is worn significantly

You do not have to remove the center to take the axles out. Just be sure the axle is level so you don't lose fluid. Can't help with control arms.

I was told the axle seals went inside where the chunk was, I know the axles just pull out. But I have a bad inner seal i believe

I thought you were talking about the outer seal, in the knuckle that seals the wheel bearings...wondering if you have to pull the center to get the axles out. If it's the inner seal, you will have to pull the guts out to get to it.

On the trac bar, I know they make after market ones with adjustable heim joints now. I'm probably going to make one now, order some chromoly/polyurthane heim joints and weld some bungs in a cut to length piece of chromoly tubing. Should get some slack out of my steering
