2008 F250 SD and Timbrens - who's got 'em?
I ordered some Timbrens for my truck (part FR250SDF). If you have the timbren frame mount plus the timbren rubber spring, the combined length is longer than the available space to mount. The drawing provided doesn't exacly match the 2008 but the part is for a 2005-2008 F250 SD.
If any of you put Timbrens on your 08 F250 4x4 trucks, what timbren part # did you use? Thanks for any feedback.

Your Timbren kit probably came with the rubber springs and some spacers (steel discs). They just might fit if you omit these spacers.
On my '06, I ended up leaving the spacers out and have about 2" of clearance when the truck is unloaded. When fully loaded, the rubber springs contact the ears on the spacer blocks and the Timbrens take some of the load.
From the installation instructions, with an unloaded truck there should be about 1 inch of clearance between the rubber spring and it's contact point. You can change this depending on when you want the Timbrens to start working.

Good news! I contacted Timbren customer support. I explained what I was experiencing. The first question they asked was. . . what did I have loaded in my bed? Well. . . a 5th wheel hitch and rails, rubber bed mat, OEM bed extender, OEM tail gate step, and a Tractor Supply big ole tool box with a bunch of junk in it. They told me that all of this would set the bed down about an inch and certainly take up the 1" gap that was supposed to be there. They said give them a shot and see how they do and if I didn't like them, they'd make it right. So, I drove around town and the ride was a little harsh. When I dropped the 34 ft Cedar Creek 5th wheel on the bed, it didn't sag a bit, and it had a great soft ride - as advertised!
I contacted Timbren again and told them the unloaded ride was harsh since there was no gap and they sent me some replacement rubber springs right out. The new springs were over 1" shorter. I used the rubber spacers included in the original kit to give me an approx 1" gap and the ride is now back to normal. I'm very pleased. The Timbrens are an affordable and an easy to apply (no drill) option instead of going with air bags or helper springs. Timbren customer service is easy to work with and they want you to be happy and satisfied. Very pleased and the do work as advertised.

Photo of installed Timbren on 2008 F250 SD
This is a photo of the Timbren installed on my truck (pass side- looking back toward rear of truck). I'm very pleased with Timbren customer service to help me get the right fit for my application.
It takes the place of the rubber stock bumper that keeps the truck from bottoming out under load. It is composed of a bracket that mounts below the frame rail, an optional rubber spacer, and the rubber spring. The original OEM bumper was 3.5" long and there was a 3.25" gap between the bottom of the OEM bumper and the stop. You can see that the Timbren is much longer and will share the weight of the load, reducing sag on the truck bed.
This photo below is the original Timbren sent for the 05-08 F250 SD. It is much beefier but was too large for my application considering the existing weight of the truck bed (hitch, bed mat, tool box, OEM bed extender). There is supposed to be a 1 in gap, but either the rubber spring was made too large or the weight of the bed took up the 1 in gap already. The truck rode great under load with these.
