What are your feelings about orange???

After sanding and buffing off the primer where there was still paint

The truck after a can of chevy orange to cover the primer. (the closest thing I had)

The little woman was not very fond of the color till I showed her this, then she said that she could "live" with it.

DO you think I otta go for orange again, I am thinking a litte bit brighter this time, with the 2 tone black. When I cleaned the first area of the orange, I was exited, I though it was going to be very bright. Once I got more surface area done, I realized it wasn't so bright, nor so great looking.

When I first started dreaming of crewcabs, I fell in love with this one. I dig red on these trucks.

I was thinking of orange and black myself (GO POKES!), but with stripes down the hood instead of two tone. I think it looks good two tone too though. Here's a bright orange one:

more pics of it here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA:IT&ih=004

I may not go with that orange, but I would go with some orange. There's millions of red trucks out there. I may be biased though, I hate red vehicles. I had a red truck once, I swear I got pulled over way more in it than I have anything else I've driven.

I get more compliments with this than any other truck or car I've had. My wife hates the orange but the kids and I love it.

if your going to go orange I'd say go solid like in Carny's post. I'm not much on black and orange - well...unless you want the Halloween truck .... go solid or go to a different color (I'm also pretty fond of the red).

Gregg's truck looks pretty sweet because its not too much orange, if you want to two tone I think you should consider doing the top of the cab like his

Orange on trucks reminds me of those oil field trucks used in and around Tulsa, Oklahoma. Of course those trucks weren't equipped with chrome and nice wheels either, but orange in my oipinion didn't help.

Sorry, but I give it a thumbs down.

I'm partial.. Orange is the only reason I suspect my truck ever gets any attention at cruise nights.

The ladies like it too. I suspect if it was red/blue/gray/black the effect would not be the same.

I enjoy the factory Creamsicle

Thanks. The front is an aftermarket seat. I don't remember the brand but will find it if you want. The back is a bench from a '78 that I had redone to match the front. The truck came with jump seats originally.
