It's a girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got a new addition to the family!
93 full size Bronco
140K, trailer package, 5.0 auto, interior mint
All it needs is r/s window motor, and shocks.
Any recomendations on the shocks would be nice.

Frank - looks great!! So what are the plans for the truck??

As for shocks I personally like Bilstein. I have them on my Super Duty right now and have run them on both my wheeling rigs and track cars. I am really impressed with them. Check them out.

[QUOTE=Ronin007]Frank - looks great!! So what are the plans for the truck??QUOTE]

I bought it so I can run the beach again. It has been a very long time since I was able to just jump in a 4wd truck with rods on board, and go fishing.

The Bilistiens that you mentioned. Do they make a semi soft ride? The reason I ask is, the one road to Moriches inlet is very rutty. I had a very tight setup on my 68 C20, and if you did not wear your seat belt you would wind up with brain damage.
Thanks for the compliment Darren.

Beach running sounds cool. Maybe some dune jumping??!!

The Bilsteins I find give you a firm, but controlled ride. There are different models of Bilstein shocks so check into some of the other models. They can run from the HD model (basic gas shock) to the Black Hawk series (fully adjustable competition shock).

frank, was out on the beach last week with my bronco b4 i sold it. seems like there still enough left for now, but we are coming into winter. took the new owner for a quick ride on the beach to show how well it handled it. great ride, didn't even have to air down and was able to keep it in 4 hi. last time i was out had different tires on, had to air WAY down and put it in 4 lo.

I hear yah. One thing about this time of year is the cool nights. Kinda keeps the sand a little more stable.

I just picked up four 33 12/50's on centerline aluminum rims. Not even 5 hundred miles on em for $300.00. I will post pics of her new stance as soon as I can. The tires still have the little nubbies on them.
