The South Kakilaki All Pourpus' thread!

Well I don't think we have Enuff... "Talk" and chatter...

...Who likes to hear the crickets?

Wha'd you guys do this weekend?

We pulled the bed of the Ranger off and replaced a perfectly good working fuel pump and questionable sender... my gauge is still a bit bogus lookin' tho.

...And I unfortunately had to put my 14y/o Dog (Beagle/Basset-hound mix) to rest.

Other than that... not a whole lot...

Spent most of the weekend welding a couple pieces in and grinding a few spots on on the 54's frame. I've been steadily getting it ready for it's final blast so i can paint it, Hopefully next weekend.

Sorry to hear about your pup Trigger.

Sorry about the dog, Trigger. My weekend was kinda eventful. By that, I mean all 7 of my grandkids and both great grandkids and their parents tore my house and my nerves UP! LOL!
Just kidding, those kids, both grown and real kids mean a whole lot to me. But my cat hides in the basement til they leave.

Still on 'limited duty' after the hernia. We watched the USF-WV game Firday night- great game! MY son goes to USF, so we're kinda biased.... We grilled some home made Greek sausage I made- good eats! Saturday, we went to a high school marching band competition. Our son marched for 5 years, so we're still into it. We're trying to get our kitchen re-faced- I had cut all the wood for new cabinet doors, and I'm slowly getting them glued together. My wife is swinging the paint brush. Can't wait to get back out in the garage, but that's probably 3-4 weeks away still.

Yep bare frame, Had to put 6" back on the rear that the previous owner had cut off, Install plates behind the spring hangars and touch up some spots in the front end. Hopefully i can get it to the blasters by the end of the week and maybe paint it next weekend.

I spent most of the afternoon harpooning my fuel tank on my 2004 F250 6.0. If anybody has a deisel truck from 2001 to 2007 this is the mod to do on the fuel tank. You will fill the tank up quick with out having to pump the last 6 gals so sloowwww.

Took the 2wd ranger to Bluff mountain up above asheville. 4500ft elevation. Very rough trail took about 4 hours to go up and back down. 5mile road. Deep ruts, rocks, trees, stumps, angry pot farmers etc. Very fun. Truck did very well for 2wd. I guess 4.56 gears, 33's and a locker can do that for a 2wd. Did have my electric fan break all its tabs halfway up the mountain. Had to use bailing wire to hold it on to get home. I love ofroading. :-)
