Hi All,
I ordered an '08 from a dealer I have been using for years on 9/26/07. As of today I still don't even as much as a VIN#.

Is there anyone else in the NJ area that has placed an order around the same time who is either (a) is the same boat as me or (b) recently got their VIN# and/or truck.

If It's a 6.4 than there was an order delay on trucks.Check out the diesel section in the fourms.

 

Thanks Steve. I am aware of the KTP delay, 2 week shutdown, paint shop fire, UAW strike w/ Navistar. I'm actually trying to feed off the other members from NJ or the Northeast in general to guage when I hopefully may start seeing some progress in mu order.

In other words, if I can find folks in NJ who placed their orders shorly before mine went in (9/25) I can get an idea from them when I may get my VIN# as well as other updates. This is why I used this forum section.

I got a partial from the DORA I got on Monday. Not full VIN or build date yet. At least KTP has accepted the order.

Finally got a VIN# and a build date of 1/15. Got it posted on BON for real time updates. Guess I still got 60 days or so until I get it.
