f250 trans overhaul

Hi guys,
I've got a '01 F250 HD Turbo that has developed trans. problems and I need to have it rebuilt. I live in Reno, Nv, but I don't mind traveling to somewhere to get the work done by some place that can do a good job and fix and mod what needs to done so I don't have to do this again. I've got 150+K miles. It's still drivable, but leaks when I hook up to trailer and put a heavy load on it. I'm talking a three horse slant with three good sized horses aboard. Any help or recomendations would be greatly appreciated.

It shouldn't be hard to find a good shop in Reno. Check with some of the parts houses. It's been over 10 years since living in the Reno area I can't remember. I grew up in Reno in the 50s lived the western Nevada most of my life.

I had mine done at Levco in Sparks. Complete rebuild (it was toasted after 150k+ of towing) with the Tugger shift kit and Billet converter was $3400. Happy with it so far.

Tks

Thanks for the help, ya'll. I've had it checked here locally at Arrow. They've done some work on a couple other vehicles and did a good job. I was hoping to get some mods done, but don't see that happening. Soooo, I think I will let Arrow do their thing, , , ,
Thanks for your help,
