Automatic hubs

Does anyone know if the automatic hubs that have only 3 cap retaining screws can be swapped out with the hubs that have 5 cap screws? This is on a 1995 F150 with an auto tranny.

You may be able to swap the complete hub or even the axle. If you swap axles just make sure you have the same gear ratio's.

You can swap them but will ? may need convertion kit (different retainers etc ) . (most 3 bolt do) If getting a used set get everything from bearing out .It will have all needed things. Good luck

uhh whats the benefit there ? You will have to change the whole hub so theres 5 holes to put the screws in .

Just get a nice set of manual locks and be done with it .

Sorry guy I thought you where swapping to the manuals . But the autos from 94 ish up need conversion to use manuals . the 94 down (my old truck ) didn't need kit as I can remember . Good luck
