I have a 03 f-250 and the radio works really slow. By this I mean that whenI go to change stations or turn up the volume it moves in slow motion. Can anyone help with this??

Were you experiencing the munchies while the radio was acting up Sorry, but I couldn't resist. Have you or anyone else installed anything that might have tapped off the power for the radio? Do you drive down alot of dirt roads which may have gotten alot of dust on the interior components / contacts of the radio? These are just guesses, but maybe it will help point to the problem.

Sounds like it was just time for it to croak. I suggest you take up the offer for the freebie stock radio. I'm not surprised that was offered -- we have great folks here on FTE!

Of course, you could always put a DP in your truck -- that'll make your radio faster (and the rest of it, too)!!
