What is the offset for factory wheels for a 2005? particularly the 17" wheels. Will they fit on a 2003? Seem to me they would because both trucks have the coil spring set-up in the front! Thanks for the help guys!
03-04 have leaf springs, they do not have coil springs in the front. i know this for sure, but i dont know whether the wheels will be compatible or not.
Well I ask this because I am selling some wheels off my 05 on ebay. I had a guy write me and ask about the offset. I told him that if he had a coil spring front suspension then they would work and if he had a leaf spring suspension then it wouldnt. He wrote back and said he had coil springs and that his truck is an 03.
What is the actual offset, i think that would be a better answer then he will know exactly what he is getting?
The 17" 2005 and newer wheels will not fit on a 99-04 4x4 without spacers but they will fit on 2wd superduties, they will just be tucked in the wheelwell 1-1/2" more.
I believe the 2wd f-250 and f-350's all have coil springs in front.
