In this week we have been exposed to the "rat" type of truck and now the "queen." Anyone who would buy an old truck of our vintage for almost 60k would be seriously lacking in some facet of their life... all but the discretionary fund facet.
No doubt, the amount of effort and money that went into the truck probably would work out to this outlandish figure... but then, after all is said and done, it is still just an old truck. More accurately, looks like an old truck.
The drivetrain precludes the notion of authentic "honest to Pete" type of restoration. The silly wheels make it look like everyone else's current interpetation of cool.
Sorry, I found something interesting in the tedium of ratrodism, but this is just another nice truck.
disappointed once again, himmelberg

so let me get this straight .. . that dude (probably the seller padding the price through another name) just payd 58k for a truck just like everyone elses (you know what i mean) and he has to reach over in his hot(no a/c) truck as he is driving down the road at night to TRY and find the remote for the radio under the dim light ofthat door marker they used as a dome?

He starts off by saying his Dad gave him the truck (Tons of sentamental value) Then he desides to make it the Perfect 1956 Ford recreation (With tons of non 1956 Ford era parts) built by two of the hardest working builders in the business (Inference boocoo bucks) And after its completed SELL it for 100K.
Ain't no way compareable to what you're doing, our's is worth at least 350K
