My truck has had 3 regen's that i have noticed. Today I pulled into a gas station threw it into park and noticed it idled up, so it was in regen. Well I did shut it off as I was in to big of a hurry to wait it out. When I left the store it picked right back up where it was. When I pressed the breck it idled back down, I know this is normal, but then I pulled up at a red light and it idled back up with me holding the break and in drive. near 2,000 RPM's. Both feet on the break and it felt like it was about to power break. anyone had this problem?

 

I have seen a couple of other posts telling of this problem, I would take it in for service. It should always idle back down when the brake is depressed.

 

seems a little dangerous. i had my had on the key i was about to kill the motor, or throw it in N or P

 

Bring the truck to your dealer. I pretty sure Ford has made a flash for this problem. It has been an issue before, how long have you had your truck?

 

about 2.5 months, 3,000miles

 

called me dealer, said they have had several with the same problem, taking it in on monday. I'll post what they did to fix it
