Yeah... it was on... Yeah... I feel stupid... It was dark at a friends house in the middle of the woods and I was backing up at least 5MPH. All jokes aside can you help me.

I wish that I could help you. I don't have that feature on my 99 Expy, my 08 Expy has the camera and the sensors and fortunately I haven't had any issues with it yet - knock on wood. I'm not familiar with the set up. Sorry. I do have a repair CD, let me check it out, I'll get back to you later. I'm not 100% certain that the 99's even had that as an option....but I'll check anyway.

On the '00 Excursion, the PAM is accessed by removing the jack storage panel.

Kind of an old topic, but can someone tell me where the PAM is on a 2005 ford f150 truck? I would certainly appreciate it

I think for the pick-ups the PAM is mounted behind one of the front kick panels. Although, I'm not sure if it's the driver or passenger side.

I appreciate the help, can anyone say for sure where it is. Also, where is the best place to order the parts for this system? Mine stays in off position when I put it in reverse as described in the prior posts

On an 05, the PAM is bolted way up under the dash, above and to the left of brake pedal.

It will be a dealer-only part so you will need to get it from someone who sells Ford parts.

Check CJB fuse F10 first. If the fuse is good, then it's either scan tool or parts swapping.

spend the money to get it diaged, if it turns out to just be a sensor or wire you'll be way ahead and if it is the pam, I'd rather now it's that expensive part first

Thanks for the help guys, I will just have it diagnosed. How much are the sensors if one is bad?
