oxygen sensor replacement

I am going to replace both. How hard are they to reach?

I was mistaken, there are 4.

I replaced the (bank 1?) driver's side "upstream". I left the others alone and reset the light. We'll see what happens. They don't seem that hard to get to but the downstream connectors are a pain to reach.

You discovered the biggest pain. The connectors are nearly impossible to reach. Can't figure why the Ford engineers always design things with the fenders off.

I rented the sensor from the auto parts store after they told me the codes and I purchased both sensors. Bank 1 was easy, Bank 2 was hard, but my 13 yo has small hands and was able to loosen and start tightening it for me. Then when the check engine lights came back on I took it to the Ford dealer and they replaced a leaky hose. Learned my lesson.

Thanks for the laugh, I don't know how many times I have replaced something and not fixed the issue, then had to go to the big boys and it was something like that....
