Y'all be happy to know....

That my Toyota's 1st oil change was done with none other than Motorcraft 5W-20.

So there's a lil' bit of the blue oval flowing through her veins.....

[that way, if she blows up, I can blame Ford. ]

How many camshafts have you replaced so far? You're supposed to do that what, every 1000 miles?

Only if you are using Motorcraft Oil. Every other brand you should be able to go 3000 before the camshafts have to be replaced.

I still love it......EVERYONE I've taken for a spin can't get over the performance/comfort/SIZE.

I haven't towed yet..............I promise a fair eval when that happens.

What you're forgetting is that it has 4 cams......even with 3 of them snapped, it still outruns Ferraris.

I forgot to mention that putting the truck on my lift did bend the frame, but what was strange was when I lowered it back to the ground it straightened right up!!! (thank God for those HUGE panel gaps...otherwise there would have been some major paint damage)

Yeah, I've actually rode in Dohc's truck and I loved it...The only problems are the camshafts, but you just have to keep a few extra on you, and with as many times as you'll replace them you will get to where you can do it in no time. And the frame warped a few times, but the steel's so light you can twist it back by hand...

So like I said, overall I was impressed...

Well, I figured being a "Japernese" wannabe truck that the frame must be plastic or some other weak-**** material.

I thought perhaps the frame was made of rice noodles.
