WOW - What a truck!

I stopped in Roundrock yesterday to pick up the hitch from Tim.....WHAT A TRUCK! To make it even better, he had just gotten his smoked signal mirror light kit. TNT N Roundrock is a killer truck.

It was so funny, I'd bet it took him all of 20 seconds to pop the old light out! He'll have that whole changeout job done in a minute or so.

He convinced me....train horns baby! He's got a sweet set up for the conpressor and tank. That's been one of my concerns. He mounted the horns on the frame rails and they sounded sweet!

Tim, Thanks for sharing your truck Pal! I only regret that I was on the run and had to get back on the highway....so I could sit in on the interstate for a couple of hours. Some dunce tried to stuff a 17 foot crane under a 16 foot bridge!

Tim, thanks for the hitch too Pal!

What roughly did it cost for the horns?

Can you ballpark what the horns, tank, compressor, and installation set you back?

TNT prob spent around $1200 for everything.. His compressor alone was $400, plus I think two of his horns were right about $200-300.. Hardware, hoses, tank.. Pretty expensive but he also has a crazy setup..

If your just wanting horns it can be done cheaper.. His is setup however so that we can change tires, air up 35 inchers if they go flat etc from his tank..

You'll hear from me when I save up enough pennies for the train horns!

Those were sweet!
