I had burnt ends from Bobby D's in Emporia!! :-) They were out of ribs. I am never getting ribs there again-- the burnt ends are better then any bbq I have ever had!

Famous Dave's has some pretty good burnt ends. Those are usually my BBQ go to. They are all of the flavor minus the bones.

We had supper at the Little Grill this evening. I had a Chicken wrap with mango slaw and a side of red beans and rice. Yum.

Julie made some kind of sausage stew last night in the crock pot. The girls didn't like it, but I did. Julie liked it as well. It reminded me of a vegetable stew with mild sausages. I was going to bring it to eat for lunch today, but I had some pork loin left over, so thought I better eat it before it starts to go bad.

Yes because once it goes bad it hangs out with other bad foods- and might start smoking and maybe drinking. Poor food these days doesn't really stand a chance against peer pressure :-)

That's why we keep it in the fridge. So that it doesn't have contact with other bad foods. I feel like we are taking away its freedom, but you can never be too careful these days.

The wife has been ill all weekend, so I have been cooking, and I may have made the best chili and chicken noodle soup I had ever made. They were both really really good!

I made mulligatawny soup and naan for supper the other night. mulligatawny is a curry with chicken and rice. Naan is a soft bread somewhat like a tortilla made with flour that uses yeast and fried on a grill or griddle. Both are sort of Asian or Indian. It was good. The warm naan is especially good with honey on it.

we (Maddie and I) made asparagus, steaks, Red Lobster biscuits, peas, and mac and cheese for dinner last night. The biscuits were on point, they were perfect. the mac and cheese was not great, but not terrible. the asparagus was really good, but the steaks were tough. They were the wrong cut for grilling.

I have personally never heard of any of that, but I lead a sheltered simple life. Oh, and the homemade bread..Yum!

NAN is AWSOME!! mulligatawny- The soup originates from East India and can be translated as "pepper-water". It is pretty good- but I prefer Butter Chicken and Katori Kebabs if I am going to eat Indian food. MMmmmm.

Curtis we all live sheltered lives in our own way :-)
