I recently changed my trans filter and fluid, but some how I think I might have put in about a half quart too much. The dip stick shows the level is over the full line and am warried that I might have problems in the future. Should I drain some or not. I have about.

you do not want to run that trans over full..make sure your checking it with the trans already hot..you can use a sucking tool (like a turkey baster) with a long rubber gas line and get that out from the dip stick..

 

I dont see an issue with a Half a qurt, We put in 4 extra qurts pull the rear line start it up and fill a milk jug. then repeat that 3 times till nice clean red fluid comes out That is how to fush the converter.

 

I see an issue with a half quart overfilled. Get the excess out.
