Fishy

Please put your real first name in your sig.

There are a ton of these truck around but one obstacle is "competitive sites" are not allowed to be linked to on FTE.

Try googling say " 1979 Ford Truck for sale" and see what comes up.

I SURE hope that that "site" is not considered a "competitive site" of FTE!!! I look at it for laughs.

That reminds me of my first 79 in '85...

http://http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m210/gregs79f150/1979Fordin850003.jpg
Which hooked me on 79 Ford 4x4's which I bought this one in '98..http://http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m210/gregs79f150/CompletePhotoFile5-10-06501.jpg

And took 7 years of nickknackin' to turn it it to this ...http://http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m210/gregs79f150/100_0943.jpg

All I need now is wheels and tires and get the polished racetrack trim back on it ...http://http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m210/gregs79f150/1979FordF150in070004.jpg

Dennis....you've come a long way...a long way indeed...and what's this about "competitive sites"?? and I'll work on that name in the signature...just for you....even though this is the 1st time anyone has asked that since I joined in '03. Thanks for sharing the pictues and all the info. Sounds like you have a lot "invested" in the truck...and a lot of good buddies that know what they're doing too.

greg...thanks for sharing yours...I love seeing where they've come from! Very sharp looking truck... hmmmm....kentucy....wonder if I could be there before daylight?

That link was to someone else's truck for sale... not mine.

I have only spent $140.00 on the 77.

oh...ok....and only $140? impressive! I did look on the internet for about an hour and half tonight...the only promising results did come from craigslist. I'm going to check out a few leads there. I must say...the computer looking beats the driving around aimlessly looking in backyards and do you like the new signature?

That truck is VERY much like mine. The differences are trim level, color and mine is a one owner, the original owner being me. That truck is same as mine right down to the engine modifications except mine has no 3" lift, but guess what, that one looks the same height as mine, so I'm skeptical about the lift that is claimed.
