Superduty mirrors on F150

Is it possible to put Superduty mirrors on an F150?

I have a buddy with a dodge 1500 and he put 2500 mirrors on it. Completely changes the look of the truck. Just wonder if the same could be done on my truck.

No but there are some aftermarket mirrors out there that look more or less just like SD mirrors but are made for the '97-'03 F150 mirror mounts. I had a set ordered about 6 months back but they canceled it and said they were out of stock. I can't remember the name now. They looked a lot like these but had the 2 mirrors just like the SD's do:

IIRC the set I wanted was going to be around $350 for power and heat and black plastic housing and manual telescope, add another $50 or so for signals and another $50 for chrome backs. I'll see if I can find them again.

I'm actually thinking about getting new mirrors for my 2003. Both mirrors stopped working (powered). Not sure if the mirrors are screwed or if the switch on the door is. I need to visit the dealer soon, so I'll have them check it out first. Would be nice if they are covered by warranty (I bought 3 year extended).

My stock mirrors are powered, but not heated. I might get powered and heated if warranty doesn't cover my broken ones. Hope it's not hard to add heated feature.

Thanks for the link. As good as they may look, I can't spend close to $500 on them. I was hoping that I could get the mirrors off of super duty at the junk yard and put them on.

The mirrors I have now are as basic as they come. No turn signal, manual adjust, no heat. I don't mind them this way either.
