I've used all sorts of stuff...windex...dish detergent...glass plus. The key for me it to not use a cloth...I use papertowels. I've heard some folks say to use newspaper.

One big question...do you smoke? Smokers really seem to have to clean regularly or the smoke builds up.

What are you using?

I bought an old station wagon (at least it was a Mercury!) from a guy who smoked a bunch. I had to do the window with vinegar the first time just to cut through all the smoke. When I first tried to clean the glass it just smeared like a greasy film.

When you finally get the papertowels to squeek on the glass...it's clean!

Good Luck Pal!
