I have been using 1oz of Wally World 2 stroke oil per gallon of fuel for about a year now and my engine has been much quieter and my milage with no load has been about 18 to 19 mpg ! I am running a early Hypertech chip. Also 2 stroke oil is meant to be burned and is low ash!
I have a 99 F 350 extended cab, long bed, SRW drive, with highway gears in the rear end, not sure of the exact ratio. I get 17 mpg average empty running down the highway, and 12 to 13 MPG pulling a 4000 lb trailer, I have run all the additives, and run without, not a whole lot of difference, I travel the US so all kinds of driving conditions, hills, moutains, flat land, tail wind, head wind, etc, you get the idea, so I know these averages are very acurate, and this is milage at the pump, dividing gallons bye miles traveled. NOT WHAT THE COMPUTER SAYS IT LIES.........
I have also punched out the exhaust, so running with no restrictions, and also have a cool air intake, and have chipped the motor..... power is better, but not much change in the milage.
I gained a little bit with the AIS airbox, zoodad and 4" s/s performance exhaust. I had been getting about 11mpg towing and now am getting 12.5. My highway mileage also went up from 18 to 20mpg freeway with the cruise set.
I just ran from KY to Northern MI (totally flat, no wind) unloaded and I got 20 mpg on waste vegetable oil! 900 miles on 1/2 gallon of diesel. So I guess you could say I got 1800 mpg!
I stayed right on 70 mph and I kept the RPM's under 2000.
