Nothing too major...her down to the frame in this thick, sticky mud last weekend. The only damage I could find was the rear bumper being a little bent but that can be solved w/a tree and a chain.
We busted up my roommates bumper on his new JK but that was the only damage for the day!

We are going again this weekend after finals are through...hopefully nothing major will happen

On Edit: Some of these stories are HILARIOUS!

Am I too old to play in this forum?

Most of you already know but for the newbs...
I completely ripped my D44HD to shreads (read - grenaded) within 3 seconds of being in 4wd.
Broke all 4 shafts (inners and outers) at the yokes, broke the short side shaft just past the splines, broke the passenger side locking hub in half, Shoved the outer stub into the face of the driver side hub popping the twist **** off, twisted the splines on the long side shaft and probably did damage to the detroit but I never pulled it before I sold the axle. This was all done with new spicer life series joints installed, not the crappy worn out stuff most of you are running.

for those who say pics or it didnt happen....

Ive also twisted the splines on 3 Moser 1541H alloy D60 FF shafts and have broken 4 or 5 (cant remember) stock shafts. Ripped the frame mount off for my traction bars (bolted on with 2- 1/2x1.5 grade 8 hex bolts) and lost the lid to my cooler while playing in the mud from June '07-present

All that happened at the same time? I never knew that. That makes it a lot cooler.

A couple weekends ago i demolished my wheeler, broke the back window, smashed up my toolbox, broke my snorkel, smashed up both front fenders, grill, turn signals and markers, broken body mounts, popped a tire off the bead, blew a clutch line, and the motor idles at 2500 rpm now.... all in a days fun

it was probably in your best interest that it broke the snorkle. take that crapola off.

where are the 39.5 swampers you list in your sig? Even though the 44 wouldve probably let go eventually the tires would have cleaned and you probably wouldnt be stuck.

No way will i ever give up my snorkle, best mod yet, nothing like have a good supply of fresh clean air

I wasnt stuck, just a good photo, a couple weeks after that day i got my swampers, the 300 dosent have the power/rpm to clean the tires, but ive got plans for it

gears my good man. the 300 will need 4.88-5.13s to keep good 39s spinning.

what did that d44 come out of? is that a closed knuckle low pinion? I noticed how the hubs bolt on from the outside with hex bolts rather than the later style hex screws.

Do what you want with the snorkle. If youre that worried about it route it in the cab. I wouldnt do it your way because Id break the mother off every time I went out. PVC pipe belongs under houses not on mud trucks.

Ill get a d60 before i regear, the 44 is a high pinion, and isnt closed knuckle, i did some tradin for it, im not sure what year its out of, every part of my snorkle was free, so im not going to change it, it works fine
