Exhaust

Just purchace a 1999 Lightning with bassani high flow cats and a flowmaster 50 series muffler. Way to loud. Would replacing the flowmaster with a Bassani muffler make it quieter or would I need to go with something else. Thanks, Pat

That's the way i'd go, matching up the two by having both Bassani. They are here http://motorhaven.autoanything.com/exhausts-mufflers/65A2690A0A0.aspx at the Motorhaven shop.

The Bassani probably won't be much quieter than the Flowmaster, but it will be a nicer sound. If you want quiet, you could probably get there by picking up a stock system from someone who is changing theirs. If you want in between there's always Magnaflow. That's what I've got on mine. It sounds great and isn't loud unless I want it to be.

Homerun.

Couldn't have said it better if I tried. So i'll just say, +1...or ditto.
