2007 September Meet -- N -- Greet
I will host the September Meet--N--Greet in my home town on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at the Blades Volunteer Fire Company 8th Annual Car, Truck, Mini Truck/Car & 4X4 Truck Show.
Dash plaques will go to the first 100 entries. Registration will be held from 9:00am to 11:30am.
Voting will be held from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. The participants in the show will do the judging.
There will be a total of 78 trophies awarded plus one 4' trophy, by lottery, as appreciation from the Blades Volunteer Fire Company. The winner of the Appreciation Trophy will be featured on next years dash plaque.
Categories are with number of trophies in brackets:
Modified Car (3)
Top Street Rod (3)
Original Car (3) - + Original car or truck w/no more than three minor changes to original vehicle.
Original Truck (3)+
Modified Truck (3)
Top Mustang (3)
4X4 Truck (3)
Special Interest (3)
Heavy Modified Truck (2) - * Original body truck/car that has been tubbed, lowered or has a blown motor.
Heavy Modified Car (2)*
Mini Truck/Car (3)
Under Construction Car/Truck (2) - Vehicle not yet completed.
Youngest Driver (1)
Oldest Driver (1)
Longest Distance Traveled (1)
After the above are selected, then the following trophies will be awarded:
Top Forty (40) - The top 40 Cars/Trucks from all classes
Club Participation (2) - The top clubs represented.
Registration (Entry) Fee is $10.00 for car or truck, includes free lunch for driver and one (1) guest.
Breakfast sandwiches will be on sale from 8:00am to 10:00am. Free Coffee provided.
Homemade Ice Cream & Lunch will be sold 11:00am to 1:00pm at a very low price.
There will also be a Chinese Auction. Also door prizes every half hour.
Rain Date is October 7th.

From the North take Rte 13 south pass Seaford and turn right at Royal Farms Store, then turn left on Cannon street. Starting at the Lowes and Walmart stores north of Seaford, you will be turning right at the fourth (4) traffic light.

To those planning on attending the show.
Try to get there early, if you want to park in a group, the sides near both street there is grass areas where a canopy tent can be set up, registration inside the firehouse, several others set up tents, music and dj will be set up near the firehouse, tables set up inside for those that want to stay in out of the heat, plenty of food, door prizes donated by many local vendors, chinese aution by ladies auxiliary, and the homemade ice cream is really good.
