2004 Super Duty

Well I just bought my first Super Duty. It's a 2004 F-250 Lariat Super Cab 4x4. It has the V10 and FX4 package. It has 127,000 miles. I purchased it Wednesday for $12,900. I had it checked on carfax and took it to my friends shop. We couldn't find any problems. The retail was $21,500 so I feal that I got a great deal. Mods so far: Black powder coated toolbox, limo tint, bugshield, ventvisors and rubber floormats. By the way the truck is silver. Everything runs really smooth. I'm curious how long these motors and transmissions (auto) usually last under normal use. I will take some pic's this weeks.

should have pulled an OASIS report. could give you some indication how long that truck will last based upon service repairs.

Oasis is the way to go. Carfax is ok but they are very general. A small fender bender will show up as a car wreck. It can be a great resource(I've used it) but it can also be pretty misleading.

With proper maintenance 250k and up for transmission and engine is no big deal.
